1 Samuel 30 tells the story of Ziklag. David was still running from Saul but he and his men had established homes in the city of Ziklag. One day when they returned from battle they discovered that the city had been burned and their families had been taken captive. The natural and the supernatural walk hand in hand through this story. It is a perfect example of how the supernatural is present to intervene but we still have to walk out the natural by faith. This teaching gives a realistic view of how the two work together to bring victory in the believer’s life.
